Syntax

\definehspace[...][...]
[...]	name
[...]	dimension

Description

Define a named dimension that can be used by \hspace.

Example

• \definehspace[half][0.5em]
  
  \dontleavehmode% %% blackrules break hmode, usually.
  \blackrule[width=0.5em]\hspace[half]%
  \blackrule[width=0.5em]\hspace[half]%
  \blackrule[width=0.5em]\hspace[half]%
  \blackrule[width=0.5em]
