\setbreakpoints

Syntax (autogenerated)

\setbreakpoints[...]
[...]reset name

Syntax

\setbreakpoints[...]
[...] compound reset

Description

Activate a predefined set of breakpoints (characters at which words may be broken). A breakpoint in a set may be defined using \definebreakpoint. This does not affect hyphenation in general, beyond adding extra hyphenation points to eligible words. The only set of breakpoints defined by default is compound.

Example

\setuppapersize[A8]
\setbreakpoints[compound]

1. This is the truth: waste-not-want-not \par
2. This is the truth: waste/not/want/not \par
3. This is the truth: waste+not+want+not \par
4. This is the truth: waste(not(want(not)) \par
5. This is the truth: ((waste)not)want)not
