\startalignment

Syntax

\startalignment[...] ... \stopalignment
[...] see \setupalign

Description

Comment

If one wants to center a MetaPost graphics or table or similar, one should add \dontleavehmode as

\startalignment[middle]% or center
\dontleavehmode
\useMPgraphic{mympgraphic}
\stopalignment

Note: \startalignment is not to be confused with \startalign (following AMS-TeX convention), synonymous with \startmathalignment (following ConTeXt naming convention).
