I don't know how to deal with spam on this wiki. Perhaps I could protect the main page, so spam is not the first thing you see. But then any change has to be proposed here or by mail to me. Any comments?

I would be happy for the front page to be restricted - shouldn't change so often anyway. Otherwise is there a possibility of having one of those human-only registration forms which requires typing the contents of a graphic, to stop the bots? Mojca recently asked (in the changelog) for comments on the reorganization of the [[Main Page]].  It looks quite good to me, overall.  The "how to edit a Wiki page" should probably link to the existing [[Help:Editing]] page, or perhaps directly to MediaWiki's Help:Editing page.

I do think a couple of the section headings should be changed.  "Tips, Tricks, and Hacks" is becoming a storehouse of actual documentation as well as just small "tricks", and the name should reflect that: something like "ConTeXt Documentation and How-To", maybe.  "Help & Guidelines" should be "Wiki Help & Guidelines", so as to distinguish it from "ConTeXt help".

With a properly-configured setup, the DVI viewer should get the right glyphs, but I haven't experimented with that configuration. I am  a chemistry specialist, and I really want to use  PPCHtex macro package for displaying chemical formulas. But the problem is I could not install context properly on my system, even I have read  the construction in Pragma installation manual.Do people have any easier ways to install context in correct way? I love  using context when I read the manual, but it is not easy to operate the whole system of Tex. Hopefully  the developers will make a  procedure which users can manage the system successfully.

  • On July 25, 2020, the NoTitle wiki extension was installed.
  • Since July 1, 2020, this wiki and live.cg.net and source.cg.net are all using ConTeXt version: 2020.06.30 17:30 (LMTX).
  • Since May 28, 2020, we are running on a new mediawiki core, version 1.34.1.
  • The 13th ConTeXt Meeting took place in Bassenge-Boirs, Belgium on September 16–21, 2019.
