Summary
The instances of \framedtext are used for wrapping frames, margins and/or backgrounds around longer blocks of text.

Settings instance
Description
The instances of framedtext are defined by \defineframedtext. That command also defines startframedtext environment versions of the instances. Since the intended usage is around text containing multiple paragraphs, the environment form is usually more suited.
